Prof. Yinglei Song
School of Electronics and Information Science, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology
Short Biography: Yinglei Song received his B.S. in physics from Tsinghua University in 1998 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia in 2006. From 2007 to 2012, he was an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, USA. He is now a Full Professor of Electronics and Information Science at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. He was selected to be one of the Specially Appointed Professors of Jiangsu Province in 2015. His research is in the design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms for graph optimization problems. His work spans theory and practice, including both algorithm development and real-world applications.

Prof. Yi-Kuei Lin

Short Biography: Yi-Kuei Lin is currently a Chair Professor of Industrial Engineering and Management Department, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He received a Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics Department from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He obtained his Master degree and Ph.D. degree in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, Republic of China. He has the honor to get the Outstanding Research Awards from Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan in 2008, 2010 and 2013, respectively. His research interest includes performance evaluation, stochastic network reliability, operations research, and telecommunication management. He has published over 200 papers in refereed international journals

Prof. Xiong Li
Department of Command and Administration, Army Armored Force Institute, Beijing, China
Short Biography: Prof. Xiong Li focuses on researching in Agent-based Modeling, Multi-agent Systems, Information System Analysis, Software Modeling and Design, Distributed Systems. He has published a book entitled “Agent-based Warfare Modeling” by National Defense Industry Press in 2013, and more than 100 papers in scientific journals, of which 60 have been indexed by SCI and EI. Besides, his PhD thesis entitled “Study on Warfare System Modeling Based on Meta-agents Interaction Chain” was nominated as one of the 30 Chinese PLA most excellent doctor theses in 2010 and the 100 national most excellent doctor theses in 2011, respectively.

Prof. Guoqiang Hu
School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Short Biography: Prof. Guoqiang Hu joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2011, and is currently a tenured Associate Professor and the Director of the Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency. He was an Assistant Professor at Kansas State University, Manhattan KS, USA, from 2008 to 2011. He received the B.Eng. degree in Automation from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2002, the M.Phil. degree in Automation and Computer-Aided Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2007. His research focuses on analysis, control, design and optimization of distributed intelligent systems, with applications to cooperative robotics and smart city systems. He was a recipient of the Best Paper in Automation Award in the 14th IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation, and a recipient of the Best Paper Award (Guan Zhao-Zhi Award) in the 36th Chinese Control Conference. He serves as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, Technical Editor for IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, and Subject Editor for International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control.
